Langford enjoys traveling, exploring the beauty in nature and creating abstract contemporary work. She recently moved to the Pacific Northwest after twelve years of painting, working and enjoying life in Aspen. A native of Nashville, her paintings are inspired by her love for color and balance as a reflection of an ever changing and evolving Universe.
Langford received her BFA in Painting from The University of Georgia, studied abroad in Cortona and moved to Switzerland to study art + theology at L’Abri in the Alps. In 2001 she created a poster for the grand opening of the Nashville Downtown Public Library and in 2003-4 + 2006 was invited to be a Resident artist at The Mendocino Art Center. She has led workshops for children at the Aspen Art Museum and served as the Director of summer art workshop programs for children.
