Kirsten Williams

Kirsten Williams is a contemporary artist who draws endless inspiration from the beauty of everyday life. Family sits at the heart of her practice, and the early floral abstracts she created side-by-side with her two daughters continue to provide abundant influence in her work today. Color is also a powerful source of inspiration and plays a central role in guiding her work. Acrylic is her medium of choice, though she continually experiments with other materials as part of her evolving practice.

Largely self-taught, Kirsten has been painting for over 15 years. She currently works out of her studio in Fairfax, Virginia.
